TrueLapland is a vast and multifaceted entirety, offering a wide range of impressive sights made by man and nature.

Hetta is home to, for instance, the Fell Lapland Visitor Centre, the Jyppyrä ancient place of worship with recreational areas, the Ethnographic Museum and the magnificent Hetta Snow Castle. At Kilpisjärvi, it is worth stopping to admire the Saana Fell, Malla Nature Reserve, Kitsiputous Waterfall, the junction point of three national borders, and Muotkatakka, the highest road in Finland.

Raittijärvi is a genuine Sámi village to which no roads lead, which is definitely worth a visit.

From the Finnish village of Karesuvanto you can easily reach the Swedish village of Karesuando, with the Laestadius Cabin, an atmosphere-rich church, and fine views from the Kaarevaara hilltop.

Bird-watching towers, idols, historical monuments, and the old summer cabins and corrals of the nomadic Sámi folk combine to make a fascinating trip.
